Buying
Do I have to build or edit anything?
No. The site is finished before you buy it. We change the business name, phone number and service area for you, then put it live. You can edit it later if you want to, but you never have to.
Is the listed price the whole price?
Yes. It covers the website, the domain registration for the first year and the setup. After that it is the hosting fee and nothing else, unless you ask us for extra work and agree to a quote first.
Can two businesses end up with the same site?
No. Each listing is sold once. When it sells it comes off the page and we do not rebuild it for anyone else in the same trade or region.
How do I pay?
Card, through Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our systems. Checkout is self serve, so there is nothing to arrange with us first.
Your domain and email
Who owns the domain?
You do. It is registered with your name and details as the registrant. If you ever leave us you take the domain and the website with you.
I already have a domain. Can you use it?
Yes. We point your existing domain at the new site instead of registering a new one. Tell us at checkout or reply to the handover email and we will sort it out.
Do I get an email address on the domain?
Yes, it is included. You get email on your own domain, for example your name at your domain, set up and working when the site goes live. It can deliver to a mailbox of its own or forward to the inbox you already use.
After it is live
Who changes things when my prices or services change?
We do. Send us the change and we make it. Text edits, price updates, new photos and adding a service are all included in the monthly fee.
What counts as extra work?
New pages, online booking, online payments, a shop, or a full redesign. We quote those before doing anything so there are no surprise invoices.
What happens if I stop paying?
The hosting stops and the site goes offline. Nothing is deleted for 30 days, and on request we hand you a complete copy of the site and transfer the domain to you.
Will it work on phones?
Yes. Every site is built to work on phones first, because that is where most of your enquiries come from.
Is SEO included?
The on page work is done: page titles, descriptions, headings and structure are set up so Google can read the site properly, and it is submitted for indexing. Ranking above established competitors takes time and ongoing work, and anyone who promises you page one straight away is guessing.
If it goes wrong
What if I do not like it?
You have 3 days from payment to change your mind and get the once off fee back in full, no reason needed and no forms. After that we do not refund for change of mind, because every listing links to the complete working site and you can test it before spending anything. Your Australian Consumer Law rights apply on top of all of it and do not expire. See the refund policy.
The site is down. What do I do?
Contact us. Hosting is monitored, so usually we already know, but we would rather hear from you twice than not at all.
Are you actually in Australia?
Yes. The business is Australian and the sites are hosted on an Australian server.
